OOTY LAKE:

Ooty lake is the one of the prominent itinerary places, it is an artificial lake, yes it is man made, it covers over an area of 26 hectares, 64 acres, and the lake is surrounded by Eucalyptus trees. Also during the summer days the boat races and boat pageantry are conducted for two days in the second week or third week of the May month.

DODDABETTA PEAK:

It is the highest peak in Nilgiris mountain which is around 2,637 meters (8,652 ft.) and from Ooty it is 9 km away and between the area there was a reserved forest over there.

BOTANICAL GARDEN:

The botanical garden was about 55 acres and 22 hectares long which is all filled with flowers and plants, flower plants and trees from different areas, and there are over 650 species, including rare and exotic flowers and also there is a talk around fossil tree trunks which is 20 million years old and it's great time spending spot for botanical lover.

It is early known as the Jayalalitha rose garden formerly which is named and it's really a vast area where around 4 hectares and there are over 20000 + flowers and plants in this area and it is a must visit spot for flower lovers and photoshoots.

The Nilgiri mountain railway train is famously called has toy train by local peoples and visitors, the toy train travels from Mettupalayam to Ooty also from Coonoor to Ooty, scenic included view point, tunnels, bridges, and green forest.
